The Property Masters Guild

The Property Masters Guild is a membership club created by Property Masters, for Property Masters. The Property Masters Guild is dedicated to highlighting and elevating the craft of the Property Master. The Property Master is a vital collaborator with the Art Department, on par with the Production Designer, Set Decorator, Costume Designer and Director of Photography.

As of 2017, our work is now recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

MISSION STATEMENT

- To raise awareness of the craft of Property Master to those both within and outside the entertainment industry.

- To educate its members so they can maintain the highest quality of standards within the craft.

- To cultivate, inspire, and train future generations of Property Masters, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds.

- To foster a greater collaboration amongst Property Masters and our craft.

Serving All Property Masters

The Property Masters Guild is a membership club and not a governing body for Property Masters. The Craft of Property Master is governed by the I.A.T.S.E. and the Property Masters Guild believes strongly in the union's authority and leadership. Together we hope to strengthen the standing of Property Masters in the film, television, and commercial communities.

The Property Masters Guild serves all Property Masters working in the motion picture, television and commercial industries.
