The entertainment industry can be an insanely stressful place to work with volatile personalities, intense schedules, unrealistic deadlines, and working conditions that leave crew members unsure how to cope or where they can safely and securely voice concerns or learn of strategies to manage their own health.
The PMG has developed a six session series to help share resources, build a support network, and provide a place for crew to seek personalized aid and coping techniques.
Sessions are available via zoom twice-a-month and open to all who work in entertainment at no cost. NDAs will be required of every attendee to protect potential sensitivity concerns about what might be discussed regarding our workplaces.
Sessions are led by a Licensed Psychotherapist, JK van der Gaag, MSW, LCSW.
Available as a part of the Phil Shea Mental Health Program in partnership with Motion Picture Television Fund.
Topic of the Week: The Psychological Impact of the LA Fires – Coping Strategies and Crisis Management.
