Traditionally, Property Masters were only as good as — and employable as — their personal relationships and resource book. Property Masters were encouraged to keep their insight and knowledge to themselves, and rarely would they collaborate together.

The rise of the Internet and social media, which made information more readily accessible, helped strip away some of that secrecy and usher in an era where Property Masters benefit from sharing knowledge, experience and resources. By joining the Property Masters Guild, you will be part of a supportive and creative environment.

As a member in good standing, Property Masters can — and should — add “PMG” next to their name in film and television credits. “PMG” will be a sign to producers of a Property Master’s significant experience and credentials.

The Craft of Property Master is governed by the I.A.T.S.E in North America. The Property Masters Guild is a membership club and not a governing body for Property Masters. The Property Masters Guild believes strongly in the unions authority and leadership. Together we hope to strengthen the standing of Property Masters in the film, television, and commercial communities.

Join the Property Masters Guild and help create a strong institution for future generations of Property Masters.
